Night-Vanth

A dragon-like creature in the service of the Rook God/God of Shades. When its body is struck, it siphons off pieces of the shadows protecting it and creates new, smaller versions of itself to wield against its enemies. Casia and her allies, including the High Queen of Sundolia, slayed this beast after it destroyed much of the Sundolian capital of Rykarra in A Twist of the Blade.
